Celtic announced a seven-strong shortlist for the club's player of the year award earlier this week.

It is, arguably, one of the most difficult seasons ever when it comes to selecting just one standout.

Ange Postecoglou's team have swept all comers aside so far in the domestic game and stands on the verge of a historic eighth treble should they overcome Rangers on Sunday and book a place in the Scottish Cup final.

Among the nominees is captain Callum McGregor. Inspirational, integral and incomparable, he is the man who sets the standards on the pitch and off it.

LAST CHANCE: Win two Celtic v Rangers Scottish Cup semi-final tickets

There's also Cameron Carter-Vickers, who solved a problem position last season and if anything has got even better in this one. Greg Taylor has thrived under Postecoglou with his inverting, passing and energy while Reo Hatate's dynamism and excellent attitude will see him occupy top spot for many.

Jota has hit double figures for goals and assists for a second straight season, Daizen Maeda is a tone-setting presence in the forward line and Kyogo Furuhashi sits on the brink of the first 30-goal Celtic season since Moussa Dembele in the Invincibles campaign.

Who should win it? Better yet, what order are they in?

Sean and Tony debate it all and give their own personal rankings of the seven nominees. You can watch it all in the player below...
