Former Celtic youth coach Greig Robertson has tipped three current starlets to make a big splash in the future.

He worked at the club for 11 years before departing in January to join FC Boston as heading of coaching.

And he has identified the next crop of players coming through that could make an impact in the future.

Speaking to Glasgow live, he said: "I absolutely think there will be a number who break through.

"There was some out in Austria with the first team during pre-season.

"Tobi (Oluwayemi) has been in and around the first team and on the bench.

"I know he is very highly regarded by Stevie Woods and the guys up there.

"He came from Tottenham and took a season to settle, but has made big saves at big moments, and as a Celtic goalkeeper, that is critical.

"He's one that the club, in general, have high hopes for. Rocco Vata played all last season for the 'B' team and has developed physically, emotionally and maturely.

"There's a good crop at U18s level too who have come through from the 16's.

"The pipeline is looking, and healthy is strong, but it's difficult to name names as you don't want to put undue pressure as they are only young."

Another who is tipped for success is playmaker Ben Summers, who Robertson thinks bares a striking resemblance to Hoops legend Tommy Burns, who the youngster previously played on television.

He continued: "Ben Summers and Rocco Vata are another two who went away to Austria in pre-season.

"Two very different people in their style of play but probably epitomise Celtic players.

"Ben Summers, an attacking midfielder who is beautiful on the ball and aesthetically pleasing. He had the unenviable role of playing a young Tommy Burns in a TV programme that was made when he was a kid, just a little guy with a mop of red hair!

"That's an unenviable comparison to have, but yeah, Ben Summers is another where there's high hopes for."
